A stereographic picture of the Big Dipper as seen from Gemini if your eyes were Pollux, left, and Castor, right. The Pollux photo is also approximately what the Big Dipper will look like from Earth in 100,000 years and the Castor photo the Big Dipper in 200,000 years. The Castor photo has been modified to show the stars behind the wooden post.
